Sociolagy in Jail

When we visited the jail i saw how everyone was under the influence of the control theory. The inmates all knew that the guards were the ones in charge and that there would be consequences for their actions if they were to disobey a rule. the guards all knew that they were to report to their boss if anything were to happen, and their boss would report to the Sheriff.
I can connect it to what we were talking about in class because our unit is deviants and all the different kinds play a role in our society. i think all forms of deviants play an important role in society and that there is not a single one deviance theory that can explain all of society's little quirks.

Who I Am

I am Cameron. I am a senior, a drummer, a swimmer, a counselor, and a boy scout. i listen to metal and rock music. I cant stand rap. I started Drumming in 5th grade, i had played the violin before i played drums. i started swimming on the high school team my freshman year. i started boy scouts when i was 10 years old. i recently went to Uproar Fest and saw Avenged Sevenfold, and Hail The Villain.
The biggest influences in my life are my parents. They have helped me thru the toughest times in my life. I will not elaborate on those moments.
I want to be a cop one day, then i want to go into a S.W.A.T. team
